Dr. Cesar Pobre, a retired Colonel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines graced our meeting and talked about the Quest for National Identity. Being a historian himself, he traced our lack of national identity from the other nationalities who conquered us like the Spanish and American. According to have a national identity, initially we should have a national language. We had a very interesting discussion with members giving their own opinion on how to have our own national identity.
