End Polio Beaming at Mall of Asia Globe LED

The highlight of the celebration of 90 years of Philippine Rotary is the beaming of the End Polio Logo and the Rotary Logo at the LED Globe of Mall of Asia. This is witnessed by all Rotarians from all districts who attended the event. The photo of the beaming was also uploaded to www.rotary.org (look for end polio beaming)

90 Years of Philippine Rotary Celebration






District 3830 celebrated the 90 years of Philippine Rotary at Mall of Asia. RCMSL is the lead club for this event. The event was well attended by Present and Past District Governors coming from the 10 Philippine District. The event was attended also by Rotary Peace Awardees. The event was also the launching of the partnership of District 3830 and Kapit Bisig sa Ilog Pasig wherein the district donated 900,000 pesos for 12 houses. The highlight of the event is the beaming of the End Polio Logo at the Globe LED of Mall of Asia. This event is the biggest PR projects so far in promoting Rotary to the community.

General Assembly February 2010





Officers and members of RCMSL once again converged at the house of PP Maridel to discuss the major undertaking of the club for February which is the 90 years of Philippine Rotary Celebration. All the members pledge full support for this Project.

January Birthday Celebrants and Chinese New Year Celebration





RCMSL celebrated the birthday of the January Celebrants: Dir. Johnny, PP Beth, Dir. Yoli, Dir. Marie, Rtn. BY and Dir. Tessie. Since the celebration coincided with Chinese New Year and Valentine, we decided to be in "RED".

Bamboo Seminar/Training at Calawis Antipolo





Mr. Romy Sta. Ana, a bamboo expert, with the Philippine Bamboo institute conducted a bamboo training to the students and parents of Calawis National High School. The training will educate the people on bamboo propagation, its benefits and possible income source.

MOA Signing with Calawis National High School





RCMSL forged an agreement with Calawis National High School for the participation of the school in the propagation of bamboo. The students and parents will be involved in the training and planting of bamboo seedling in the area. The MOA was signed by Principal Rowena Sison with Pres. Jing Sarao, IPP Chacha Camacho, PP Maridel Villavicencio and Dir. Eugene Gonzales.

Rtn. Yoli's Birthday




RCMSL members in full force attended the surprise birthday party of Rtn Yoli organized by her daughters. The members came in their bright and colorful Hawaiian outfits.

Mother Theresa 2010





RCMSL supports Mother Theresa's Home for the Aged. We visit the center every year to feed the Lolos and Lolas and to donate the basic needs of the center like cooking oil, milk, rice, sugar etc. This project was started by Rtn. Tessie and has been goin for more than 10 years already.

General Assembly January 2010





A general assembly was called by Pres. Jing to discuss major undertaking of the club for 2010. RCMSL will be the lead club for the 90 years of Philippine Rotary Celebration and the Handover of Gov. Sid to DGE Ed Alvarez. The members also discussed about attendance to the Discon, Sister Club visit to Taipei and the Induction of PE Ruth Nocum.

Green Conference




A Green Conference was held at Makati Sports last January 21, 2010. The purpose of the conference is to preserve the environment amidst economic development. Our RCC officers in Calawis attended the seminar and share with fellow attendees our effort of preserving the environment by organic farming and vermiculture.

Regular Meeting with Madam Paloma, Astrologer and Feng Shui Consultant



RCMSL members learned the basics of Astrology and Feng Shui from Madam Paloma. Paloma discussed the coordination and alignment of the stars in relation to the economic and political outlook of the Philippines.

January 2010 General Assembly





We started 2010 with a relax and cozy fellowship at Brasserie Boheme Restaurant. The members enjoyed the good food, wine and most of all - each others company.

Gift Giving with Supplemental Feeding Program Beneficiaries






RCMSL with RC Makati and RC Metro East Taytay had a gift giving to the families of the 60 kids under the supplemental feeding program. This shows the club's commitment to sustainable, continuing and meaningful projects.
