Club Handover 2010

Pres. Jing passed on the baton of leadership to PE Ruth Nocum during our club handover. Certificate of recognitions were given to members of the club who have supported Pres. Jing during her term. The club handover also coincides with the birthday of Pres. Jing so its a double celebration. We really had a fun filled night and we are looking forward to the incoming term of PE Ruth.

RCMSL Attended the Charter Anniversary of RC Taipei Capital

RCMSL's annual visit to Taipei to attend the Charter Anniversary of our sister club, RC Taipei Capital. This year is their 19th Charter Anniversary and 1000th meeting.

General Assembly April 2010

The club had its general assembly last April 8, 2010. We discussed our plans for the remaining months of the term of Pres. Jing. We also prepared for our presentation for our trip to Taipei to visit our sister club, RC Taipei Capital.

Cast Party of Makati 2

Cast of Makati 2 celebrated their victory by winning 2nd place in the Discon Presentation. The cast party was really fun with a lot of singing, fellowship and of course - free facial to everybody who attended courtesy of Skin Doctors Cosmeceuticals.

3H Grant Vermi Culture Seminar

Romy Sta. Ana and other experts conducted a vermiculture training to the students and parents of Calawis National High School. This training is part of the organic farming component of our 3H grant.

Rtn. Roy's Birthday Fellowship

Rtn. Roy Gonzales celebrated his birthday party at his residence last March 23. It was a fellowship with a lot of fun, good food and good company.

Discon 2010

RCMSL in full force attended the Discon to support Pres. Jing and PE Ruth Nocum. Some members of the club also joined the presentation for during the Governor's Ball and won 2nd place. Discon is a great way to fellowship with fellow rotarians in the District.

Makati Mayoral Forum - A Joint Meeting

A Joint Mayoral Forum was organized by RC Manila, RC Makati San Lorenzo, RC Forbes Park and RC Makati Guadalupe. The clubs invited the three Mayoral Candidates of Makati to discuss their plans and programs for the city. The candidates who attended the forum are: Vice Mayor Mercado, Councilor Junjun Binay and Former Senator Butch Aquino.

Calawis Visit with GSE Team from New Jersey, USA

RCMSL was the day host of the GSE from New Jersey, USA. We brought the GSE Team to our 3H project site to showcase our vermiculture and organic farmer projects as well as the bamboo plantation project. We took advantage of our visit to calawis to donate old clothes and books to Calawis national high school.

Board Meeting March 2010

Pres. Jing convened the board to discuss recent accomplishments of the club and other pending projects until the end of RY2009-2010. IPP Chacha and Rtn. Eugene also presented to the board an update of the developments of our 3H Grant Project in Calawis, Antipolo.

Democracy Forum

The club represented by Pres. Jing, CP Renie, PP Cynthia, PP Maridel, PP Erwyn and PE Ruth, attended the Democracy Forum. The forum was organized by the District Legal to discuss resolutions and enactments that will be discussed during the Discon.
